Hello, my name is Pastor Joe Adkins. It has been my privilege to take up the mantle of Senior Pastor here at Good News Baptist Church. I am here with my beautiful wife, Mindy, and our four children: James, Titus, Josh, and Lydia. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 5. God called me into full-time ministry in February, 2001, and I followed His leading to Pensacola Christian College, graduating in 2006.
Before getting married, I spent two years as a Children's Pastor. I have spent the last 10+ years as a Youth Pastor prior to coming to Good News. Churubusco is definitely a major change from Chicago; however, after visiting the church, we have fallen in love with this church and community. I consider this to be a high honor and privilege to serve both the people of Good News Baptist Church as well as the people of Churubusco, Indiana. Luke & Nicole Foote
YOUTH DIRECTOR & SECRETARY Luke and Nicole are a Jesus-loving couple who are passionate about serving God and others. Married for three amazing years, they are the proud parents of two energetic and lovable boys, Jetsen and Teddy, who keep life fun and full of laughter. Luke is stepping into the role of Youth Director with excitement and a deep desire to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus. Nicole is stepping into the secretary position with a heart full of faith, and a passion for supporting both Luke in his new role and the church through office administration. They are excited to serve the GNBC family and are expectant for all that God is going to do. With their shared love for Jesus and people, Luke and Nicole are thrilled to be part of what God is doing at GNBC and can't wait for the journey ahead. |

MAINTENANCE & GROUND CUSTODIANS
Josh and Bria have been part of the GNBC family since 2019 and recently stepped into the role of church custodians. With servant hearts and a love for their church community, they help care for the building and create a clean, welcoming space for ministry. Bria also volunteers as an AWANA leader, investing in the next generation with joy and faithfulness. Along with their four wonderful kids, Josh and Bria are a vibrant and valued part of GNBC.
