Our Ladies Ministry at Good News Baptist Church seeks to encourage women to grow in their personal relationship with God through study and training in the Word, serving and caring for the Body of Christ, and fostering a Christ-centered community. So whether you are just out of high school or a grandmother (or somewhere in between!), we would love to help you get connected to our church family. 

• Bible Study - Throughout the year, GNBC offers short-term Ladies’ Bible Studies that meet at various times throughout the week. Studies range from examining books of the Bible, to video series, to book-based discussions. 

 

• Secret Sisters - The Secret Sister ministry is an outreach for ladies to encourage each other. It is our desire that as sisters in Christ, we pray for, uplift, care for, and fellowship with one another in our walk of faith through our relationship with Jesus Christ. Names are drawn at the beginning of the school year and over the course of the next few months, Secret Sisters minister to one another through notes, cards, small gifts, and most importantly, become her silent prayer partner. Secret Sisters are then revealed at a fellowship at a local restaurant. 

 

• Outreach - The ladies of GNBC desire to make a difference in our community - especially at Christmas time. During the month of December, our ladies can be found baking & decorating over 70 dozen cookies to be distributed to local missions ministry. 

 

• Meals Ministry - This ministry exists to provide opportunities to share food with others in times of need or crisis, whether that is a new baby in the house, an illness of a loved one, or other various situations.
